B-R-T: Creating a Sales Funnel That Works
One Business Advice, One Resource and One Tool.
Hello there,
Let me ask you a question - have you ever wondered why some coaches, course creators, etc seem to make sales effortlessly while others struggle, despite having great products?
The difference often lies in one overlooked element: a well-structured sales funnel.
Most coaches and course creators have amazing digital products but no structured way to convert their audience into customers. They keep posting randomly on social media, hoping someone will buy, instead of having a funnel that leads people from awareness to purchase.
Today, I'll share how to create a sales funnel that actually works - one that turns your casual audience into paying customers while you sleep.
Business Advice
The Simple Truth About Sales Funnels
Here's what I've learned after years of selling digital products - you don't need a complicated funnel to make consistent sales. What you need is a clear path for your audience to follow.
Here's my advice on creating a funnel that actually works:
1. Start Simple With Your Lead Magnet: Create something free that solves ONE specific problem for your audience. Your lead magnet shouldn’t be a full masterclass. The simpler it is to consume, the better it will convert.
2. Make Your Landing Page Crystal Clear: Your landing page should contain the basic details which include the headline, image of the lead magnet, description/benefit of the lead magnet/offer, and call to action. Your landing page should contain one clear message and one clear action.
3. Nurture Through Email: Build trust before you sell. Share stories, solve problems, and let your audience get to know you. You can do this with your nurture emails so that when you eventually pitch, it feels natural.
4. Create a Sales Page That Converts: Your sales page gives details of your paid product or offer. Focus on the transformation instead. Show your audience where they are now, where they want to be, and how your product bridges that gap.
5. Follow Up Strategically: The magic often happens in the follow-up. Set up email sequences and automation to stay in touch with both buyers and those who haven't purchased yet.
Remember this - a good funnel is about creating a clear path that guides your audience from stranger to customer in a way that feels natural and valuable.
So your duty from now on is to create your funnel and keep driving traffic to it through your social media content, paid ads, and other traffic sources while your funnel converts those leads into buyers.
Resource
When it comes to a funnel, there are many moving parts. The most important part of a sales funnel is the content, which is the words that get people to take action.
You need ad copy, stories, captions, and content to drive traffic. You need a good copy in the lead magnet, landing page, nurturing emails, follow-up emails, and sales page to drive people to take action.
And that is why I created Sell Anything To Anyone With Words. In this bundle, you’ll get video guides + plug-and-play templates on caption writing, content writing, sales copywriting, ad copywriting, storytelling, and creating a content strategy tailored to sell your offers.
Tool
Selar Sales Page Builder
When it comes to creating sales pages that convert, Selar's sales page builder is a tool that I’ve used to build landing pages and funnels and it is one I can recommend.
Selar page builder has a user-friendly drag-and-drop interface, is optimized for mobile-responsive design, and has multiple payment gateway options for both local and foreign transactions.
It has customizable templates that you can edit instead of building from scratch and you can integrate other tools into it including email marketing tools.
Reflection
I want you to take a moment to think about your current sales process.
As earlier said, a funnel isn't just about making sales - it's about creating a journey that transforms strangers into loyal customers. It's about building trust and delivering value at every step.
Ask yourself:
What's the biggest gap in my current sales process?
Am I making it easy for my audience to buy from me?
How can I add more value at each stage of my funnel?
What automation can I implement to make sales while I sleep?
This week, commit to building or optimizing one part of your funnel. Maybe it's creating a new lead magnet, or perhaps it's improving your sales page.
Remember: The best funnel is the one that works for your audience and your business model.

One way you can drive organic traffic to your funnel is through social media. But social media can be a puzzle on its own especially when you don’t have a content strategy that guides how, when, and why you post content.
And most creators are quitting social media because of this. I’ve been consistent on social media and I do get leads into my funnel daily and clients I work with. And that is why I created a video on why you shouldn’t quit social media and how to use it.
